hybris, a global leading commerce platform provider acquired by SAP in 2013, launched an API commerce platform called YaaS (for hybris as a service) in September 2015 as a public beta. It was built as a microservices platform that also powered a marketplace for developers and partners. Customers had been the food delivery service Lieferladen.de. In 2018 SAP Hybris announced the shutdown of the YaaS platform. Components of the YaaS platform have been carved out and serve now at emporix for their commerce engine.
